Hello and Welcome! My name is Tammi Porter and I am very glad that Washington College has piqued your interest and that you have decided to take a closer look at what WC has to offer.
Washington College is one of the oldest liberal arts institutions in the country and we are very proud of our history. WC is truly a place where you can find yourself and explore many different aspects of life, possibly some you haven't even thought of. The academics here at WC are very hands, on with many opportunities both in and out of the classroom. Many students get involved in study abroad, internships, and research, as well as many other activities.
The people that make up Washington College are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have met and they truly make you feel as if you are part of an extremely large family. The professors and staff are dedicated to helping you succeed and make the most of your college experience.

As a recent graduate of Washington College I can honestly say that I could not have picked a better school to have as my alma mater. WC helped me become the person I am and the relationships and experiences I had here will be ones that I will carry with me for a very long time.
